IMAGE CONTROL SPECIALIST

Job Responsibilities

  • Shop maintenance including cleaning floors, vacuuming, trash removal, etc. 

  • Shop organization including equipment, tools, supplies and parts

  • Perform other misc. tasks that contribute to the success of the shop

  • Assist in detailing interior and exterior of vehicles

  • Stocking of parts and organizing of parts storage

  • Car experience is preferred

Pay Rate:

$16+ depending on experience. Benefits included for full time

Qualifications

  • High school graduate

  • History of working in the automotive industry is preferred

  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions

  • Strong communication, organization skills and self-motivated

  • History of working well independently and in a team environment

PAINT PREP TECH

Job Responsibilities

  • Bodywork

  • Tape and masking

  • Applying primers

  • Sanding and color-sanding

  • Finish work

  • Vehicle assembly

  • Working with a team to work efficiently

 

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of paint prepping experience.

  • 1-3+ years of classic car, hot rods, muscle cars 

  • Familiarity with shop equipment.

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, teamwork.

  • Driver’s license and work transportation

METAL FABRICATION BODYMAN

A metal fabricator repairs the firewall and floor on a 1964 Polara.

Job Responsibilities

  • Frame straightening and measuring.

  • Rust repair.

  • MIG, steel, aluminum and TIG welding.

  • Panel repair and replacement.

  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles and related parts.

  • Minor bodywork in accordance with the repair plan.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of MIG, steel, aluminum and TIG welding experience.

  • 1-3+ years of automotive experience.

  • Familiarity with shop equipment.

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, focused on maintaining a high level of quality work.

  • I-CAR training helpful.

  • Experience working on classic cars, hot rods, and or muscle cars.

  • (Desired experience) with coachbuilding.

  • Driver’s license and work transportation

  • No personal tools necessary

LOCATION

We are located between Anacortes and Mount Vernon in Skagit County. This fantastic spot is within 15 minutes or less of Burlington, La Conner, Anacortes and Mount Vernon. We are only 30 minutes from Oak Harbor and less than an hour commute from Ferndale, Bellingham, Marysville and Everett. Depending on traffic, Seattle is only 1-2 hours away.
